For one of my final year university projects, I had to unpack the history of a word or phrase and create a story behind its meaning. My group decided to focus our project on the word 'brainwash,' which is a direct translation from the Mandarin words for wash (xi) and brain (nao), known as 'xi-nao'.
This project was created by myself and Stuart Marsden (or Copystew) in 2018.
