The farm was powered by solar energy, and our hydroponic and aeroponic growing systems facilitated up to a 90% reduction in water usage compared to traditional farms. We utilized sensors and software to automate our equipment, simulating the ideal growing conditions for our produce.

Additionally, we implemented environmentally conscious practices, such as the use of compostable labels and packaging, to ensure that we did not contribute to pollution and unnecessary landfill usage. Hydroleaf also allowed Romano Group to experiment with offsetting factory emissions and waste. We were able to reuse scrap factory material to build smart farming prototypes.
